My favorite things are coffee, brunching, shopping, DIY projects, hanging with my kids, social events, hiking, camping, and Duh.. event planning!! I have a big heart, and a huge passion for building community and friendships. I love being around people and I truly believe in the the power of human interaction. I’m Andrea (Dre), the owner of Heart and Sol Events.
I am so happy you’re here with me, let’s get to know each other better. I was born and raised in San Diego where I now reside with my three beautiful children. Two boys, and a girl. My kids and I live a wonderful life full of fun, love and adventure. My daughter hopes to one day run my business with me and be the best little assistant to mama. Being their mom is my greatest passion and the reason behind all of what I do. When my kids started school, I quickly found myself leading fundraising events for the PTO foundation, leading classroom events and managing any party on campus that I could. It was in those moments where I really discovered my love for both hosting events and event coordinating.
If I could give advice to anyone planning a wedding, it would be to book Dre! She is the real deal. I cannot thank Dre enough for helping put together the wedding of my dreams. She had to put out so many fires that I was unaware of till after the wedding, and she handled each one with such class and grace. She grabbed coffee for my bridesmaids and me while we were getting ready and truly goes above and beyond to ensure the couple enjoys their day. My mom, who is the biggest skeptic of having a planner or coordinator, fell IN LOVE with Dre and every guest/ vendor continued to compliment me on having such an incredible coordinator. If you want to enjoy your day, hand it over to Dre! Thank me later. We love you, Dre!
Dre was absolutely amazing! I have so much respect for what she does and I honestly DO NOT KNOW how she does it! She coordinated the day beautifully, and helped with everything from decor to keeping vendors in order. She went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were enjoying ourselves! She was not pushy, she was so gracious and FUN! She gave us options throughout the day, but took on decisions that she knew we wouldn’t want to worry about. Best decision we made about the wedding was hiring Dre for our event. THANK YOU Dre for making that day so special. You’re the best!
Dre is THE BEST! Hands down - THE BEST!
From the minute we started working with Dre, I knew we were in good hands! We had several issues with the venue, but she was on top of it every single step of the way. The day of our wedding we had so much confidence in her that our day would run smoothly, and she did not disappoint! Dre went above and beyond to make sure every little thing was perfect. We are so incredibly thankful that we found her and could not have gotten through the day without her!! If you are looking for an event coordinator, look no further!
Dre was amazing!!!!! We hired her for day of coordination but she did so much for than that! She was truly there every step of the way and handled everything!!!! During the wedding planning process I would always get advice from previous brides saying “its inevitable that some things will go wrong the day of but just go with it”… and I can honestly say NOTHING went wrong!!! It was a seamless and perfect day thanks to Dre!!!! Wish I could re do it all over again. Thank you so much!!
